Hello my little Shortcakes, I hope you all are doing well! ^w^

I've been pretty busy with life and stuff lately so it feels great to be able to take a moment and sit back and blog for a little while! ~

I received that card necklace recently and I wanted to put an outfit together with it since I got it to match my Star Night Theatre jumperskirt! ^w^ I paired it with white and red wristcuffs and that diamond ring from Angelic Pretty to keep the cards theme! ~

This was just a casual outfit for work but it had received so many nice comments on Instagram! ;w; I'm actually surprised people like my casual looks, they look so boring to me... XD; Well, this time I paired my plain lilac skirt with my peachy pink cutsew and socks! ~ I added simple accessories to complete the outfit! :3

I felt so confident in that outfit! ^w^ I coordinated my Cherry Berry Bunny jumperskirt along with pink and accessories themed around bunnies and strawberries! ~ I love when I get the confidence to take out my bunny bag to go along with my outfits, it makes me so happy! :3

I've been wanting to put that outfit together for a while! :3 I really love how my pink Milky Planet look coordinated with yellow! *v* I chose accessories themed around stars and pearls for that outfit! ~ I also really like how I did my makeup on that day; I love how yellow eyeshadow look on me! :3

Can you believe it's the first time this year that I wear proper Country Lolita? ;o; With my new short hair I thought it looked weird when I would put my hair in braids... ;w; But since I had a picnic with my friend Catherine on that day I knew I wanted to wear Country! ~ I went for something quite casual; My gingham pink skirt paired with a white cutsew and simple flowery accessories! ^w^ I was comfy and it made me happy! ~

So that was my latest outfits for now! ^w^

52 Weeks of Lolita! ~ How strict are you in applying the rules to yourself? To others?

Hello my little Shortcakes! ^w^

Today, I'm back on my blog again with another prompt from the 52 Weeks of Lolita challenge! ~ This time, the subject is...

How strict are you in applying the rules to yourself? To others?

Honestly, this subject is very interesting for me because I've been into Lolita fashion for almost 12 years now and sometimes the longer people are into the fashion, the more flexible they are with "The Rules"! Often they will try to be much more experimental with the fashion; Mixing "normie" elements with their outfits or trying to mix different styles with Lolita fashion! And most of the time, they are doing it so nicely and beautifully, I am admiring them so much for that! ~

But, for me personally I really love some kind of "cookie cutter" coordinates! ^w^'' I genuinely love when everything matches perfectly; the colours, the theme and the textures! I am not someone that does experiment with Lolita fashion that much, at least not as much as other more experienced Lolitas does!

So overall I think that for me I really like to stick to the rules when it comes to Lolita fashion! The only "Rule" I've been trying to bypass lately have been animal ears with Lolita fashion, simply because I like it so much! :3 Whenever I see a themed coordinate, I feel like it's been something that is much more acceptable lately! ^w^

Now, for others... I've always been someone that is more into the "let people do whatever they want" mindset! XD; But, of course if someone is trying to put together a proper Lolita outfit, I think it's better if they stick to the "Rules" and try to do at least a handful or proper outfits before they go into the experimenting route! Especially if their goal is to be a proper Lolita, that is! :3

But other than that, I really like seeing more experimental coordinates from other people! ~ I love seeing the creativity of other people with their outfits in the fashion and it's something I really admire a lot, even if it's not something I would do myself! ^w^

I realized that I haven't worn my Perfume Kitties jumperskirt more than once! How scandalous is that! XD; So I put together a pink and lilac outfit with it! :3 I think my Hello Kitty necklace matches so nicely for this look! (I definitely need more cat-themed accessories! XD) I also thought I could get away with wearing my new lilac shaker cat ears with that outfit since it's so heavily cat-themed and it looks like it blends nicely with the headbow too! ^w^ I wanted to do a more OTT hairstyle but my hair wouldn't cooperate on that day, oh well! XD;

I recently received that necklace and these socks from AliExpress and I knew I wanted to make a good Old-School look with both of them! :3 So I decided to wear them together with my pink Anna House OP which is my very first Lolita dress! ^w^ (Can you believe that dress is 12 years old? XD) I love how the delicate pearls on my neckbow match with my bracelets! :3 I'm feeling very proud of this outfit, what do you think? ~
