Daily Outfits! ~ October 31st to November 13th!

Hello my warm pumpkin spice lattés! ^w^

I'm back on my blog today with my outfits from the last two weeks! ~ I've got 5 outfits to share with you this time! :3

~ Outfit from October 31st! ~

I've worn that outfit for an Halloween videochat with friends! ^w^

Horns; Dollarama
Dress; Oo Jia
Socks; Bodyline
Bag; Loris
Accessories; Paradise Rose, Etsy & Claire's

On Halloween day I decided to dressup as a Little Demon, haha! ~ When I saw those horns at the dollar store, I knew I had to make an outfit around them for Halloween! :3 So I wore my black OP along with red and some touches of white for that devilish look! ^w^ I also tried something new with my eye makeup and I really loved it, it was quite simple to do too! ~

~ Outfit from November 5th! ~

I wore that outfit for an health appointment! ~

Headdress; Dream of Lolita
Cutsew; Rose Melody
Jumperskirt; Dream of Lolita
Socks; Secret Shop
Bag; Loris
Accessories; Paradise Rose & Gift

As I already said, I really enjoy wearing cutsews under jumperskirts now and I've wanted to pair this cutsew with that particular jumperskirt for so long! ^w^ I think that I still look well dressed and put together but the cutsew really adds that comfy touch! UwU Since the details on the collar and cuffs are white, I wore socks with some white in them to tie the outfit all together! ~

~ Outfit from November 6th! ~

I wore that outfit to pick up some Starbucks and go to the grocery store! ^w^
(I'm so sorry the makeup/face shots of that outfit are so grainy, it gets dark at like 4PM now... ;w;)

Headbow; Momo & Jia
Blouse; Anna House
Jumperskirt; Soufflesong
Socks; Anna House
Shoes; An*Tai*Na
Bag; Loris
Accessories; Sugar Raindrops & Rococo Soul

On that day I wanted to try to coordinate my new Soufflesong jumperskirt with some white in a simple and casual outfit! ~ So I wore a white long sleeved blouse, plain white socks and a simple necklace and ring to complete the look! :3 I think it's a very lovely outfit that let the print be the main focus of the coordinate! ^w^

~ Outfit from November 11th! ~

I wore that outfit to run some quick errands to the drugstore! ~

Headbow; Miko Lolita
Blouse; Dear Celine
Skirt; Anna House
Socks; Bodyline
Shoes; An*Tai*Na
Bag; Loris
Accessories; Holley Tea Time

On that day I wanted to wear something simple and a casual with a little touch of Old-school! :3 I think it's the first time I wear this jabot with that blouse and I really love it! ^w^ I kept the theme simple with my heart ring and the hearts on the socks! ~

~ Outfit from November 13th! ~

I wore that outfit to go to the grocery store! ~

Headbow; Oo Jia
Dress; Oo Jia
Socks; Secret Shop
Shoes; Bodyline
Bag; Loris
Accessories; Chocomint, Claire's & Local Shops

As you may notice, I haven't worn my Wonder Party OP in a lonnng while! ^w^''

* Content Warning; Weight/Diet Talk!! *

That was mainly because in didn't fit me anymore during the last few years... ;w; My mental health was really bad and of course it had an impact on what I was eating and my weight... During the last months I decided to take better care of myself and what I eat! My main focus isn't really on losing weight but making more mindful and conscious choices regarding what I eat... But, that doesn't mean I wasn't very happy when I tried on my Wonder Party dress that morning and it ended up fitting me again! ~

So that was the outfit I wore on that day! :3 I was so happy to put an outfit together for a dress I haven't worn in so long and I missed it a lot! ;w; I chose to not wear the matching jabot with it (mainly because I wore it with my last outfit XD)... But I think the darker pink necklace match nicely with the pink and dark pink coord! ~ I added a pearly neckbow, some simple pearly bracelets and my very obnoxious tulle ring and I was ready to go! ^w^

So that was my outfits from the last few weeks! ~ Hope you enjoyed to take a look at them as much as I enjoyed to put them together! :3

I'm going back to work next week but I hope that I'll be able to post as often as I would like on my blog; It's really something I enjoy and I want to keep doing! ~

Until next time my soft purple blankets, stay safe and take care! ^w^ <3

Fall Favourites 2020! ~

Hello my pretty sparkly red bows! ~

Today I wanted to post about something I haven't done in a while on here; My favourites from the season! ^w^ I don't have a lot this time (and most of them aren't really that related to Lolita fashion or lifestyle, oops) but I still wanted to get into that habit that I liked a lot back in the days! ~

So, let's dive into my favourites from this fall! :3 I hope you don't find them too random, haha! XD;

~ Wearing Cutsews under Jumperskirts ~

Surprisingly, it's something I've never done before because I thought it would mix "casual" with "dressed up" too much... But I've tried it for the first time this fall with my more plain and casual jumperskirts and I've been really enjoying it! ~ It makes me feel dressed up and cute without feeling overdressed on the daily! ^w^

~ Earl Grey Creamy Vanilla ~

I've literally got this tea blend last week but I've been addicted to it ever since! ^w^ Usually bagged Vanilla teas are a bit of a hit or miss sometimes for me... Some of them can taste a little bit cheap and artificial (for example I didn't particularly like the Vanilla Chai from Twinnings). But this one really taste natural and yummy, I really recommend it if you want an affordable grocery store tea blend that taste nice and fancy! :3

~ PriPara ~

I've started to watch PriPara at the beginning of fall and I've never watched an anime so fast in my life... I think! XD; I've almost completed the first season of 140 episodes and I've been really enjoying it so far! ;w; It's been a while since I've been that invested into watching an anime and really looking forward to it! ~ The songs are nice, their stage outfits are lovely, everything is in rainbow colours and sparkly, everyone is cute and/or quirky! XD; I wish I would have started to watch it earlier! ;3;

~ Steven Universe & Songs ~

I've wanted to watch all the seasons of Steven Universe for a while (actually, since I watched the end of the Future season with Érika last winter). I finally found a website that had them all in one place so I started to watch it as I was playing videogames, haha! ^w^ I really liked the story but especially the songs! I've been listening to the series soundtrack in the morning as I get ready and cook my breakfast, such a nice way to start the day! :3

Now, I want to do a little bit of a sub-category for my favourites since all the other ones are related to that subject in a way or another...

~ Self-Care & Personal Development ~

As you may know since I've talked about it a bit on my blog, I've been going through a huge mental health and healing journey this fall which is very dear to my heart as I continue to grow into the best version of myself! ^w^ I've been doing a lot of self-care, self-love and personal development work and I wanted to share a bit about some that were the most important to me in my favourites! ~

~ Lo-Fi, Classical & Relaxing Music ~

During this journey I've really connected back with listening to music as I am going through my daily tasks. :3 I used to be so anxious and stressed out, listening to music would just make me more anxious and irritable before... I'm really happy I've been connecting back with music and how it can influence my mood and put me in a good headspace. :3

~ Candles ~

I've always been someone that their self-care is highly related to scents; I need my space to smell good, familiar and calming! ^3^ This fall I've been burning some scented candles in my place pretty much everyday. It helps me feeling at peace and at home with a nice scent and some calming light, I really love it! ~

~ Baths & Skincare ~

I've been really enjoying taking long, mindful baths this fall! I've kind of stepped up my bathtime routine, adding more bath products, skincare & body care to it and bringing my crystals with me for guidance. I've been also combining them with lighting some candles and listening to some peaceful music or a podcast while I relax! ^w^ I've also been trying some new skincare products and a different routine which have been very refreshing for me! :3

~ Balanced Meals & Mindful Eating ~

I used to be someone that would really enjoy cooking hearty homemade meals and when my mental health was down the drain I couldn't really afford to do that anymore as I had to concentrate most of my energy to just survive... I've been really happy and grateful I've got the chance to connect with that again during the past few weeks! ^w^ I've been trying out new meals, new recipes and flavours and I've been enjoying that a lot since I missed it for so long! ~

~ Reading ~

This past month I've started to read a couple of pages of self-development books a day. ~ I've been feeling drawn towards that more lately! ^w^ When I was reading I would usually "force" myself to read lots of fiction books since it's what I've been loving as a child but reading more academic books really sparked back my love for reading and knowledge! :3

~ Journaling ~

As you may know I've been using the Bullet Journal system as my daily planning and accountability tool since several years! ~ However, I never really used it for journaling per se. ^w^'' I've started to get into the habit of journaling each day to empty my mind, my thoughts, gain some awareness, lay out my goals and accomplishments, etc... Some days I like to use prompts, some days I write whatever is on my mind! ~

~ Yoga ~

The last one but definitely not the least! ^w^ I've been starting to practice Yoga lately! I've been following some tutorials online and I'm really enjoying it so far! ~ I love the way that the practice is all centered about body autonomy, self-love and mindfulness. It's so positive for me and it helped me to find a way to move my body in a "non-agressive" way and it's been so helpful for both my body and my mind! :3 I really want to continue walking on that path, it's been doing wonders for my health during the past month! <3

I hope you enjoyed taking a peak at what I've been enjoying this past few months! :3 I know that my favourites tend to be a bit random at times but this time it really take the cake, haha! ^w^'' But since I've been on a long mental health healing and recovery journey I thought it would be nice to share it on here! ~ How knows, maybe it can inspire some people? :3

Until next time my perfectly sweet madeleines, stay safe and take care! <3

52 Weeks of Lolita ~ What does the phrase “Lolita lifestyle” mean to you, and do you adhere to it?

Hello my wonderfully soft kitten paws! :3

I'm back on my blog today with another 52 weeks of Lolita! ~ The subject this week is very exciting to me and if you know me you'll get why! ^w^

~ What does the phrase “Lolita lifestyle” mean to you, and do you adhere to it? ~

Well, if you know me or you've looked at this blog a bit, you know that I consider myself a Lifestyle Lolita since the last decade! I've talked several times about the Lolita lifestyle on my blog with my Lolita Lifestyle 101 series but my posts were more informational and inspirational than personal, indeed! ^w^

So I guess that today is the time to open up my heart about it! ~

To me, Lolita lifestyle is something incredibly precious. Lolita fashion and especially the lifestyle came at a point in my life where I didn't had any goals in life... I didn't think my life or myself had any value or meaning... When I discovered the Lolita lifestyle, I decided that that would be my ultimate life goal! I felt like it was almost like a spiritual calling, a vocation and a message from the universe that I would have finally found my place in the world! ^^;

I know that the Lolita lifestyle is something personal to each and every one of us, but to me it really centers around three key points! ~

~ Wearing Lolita fashion (or Otome) daily!

I think it would be really hard to have a proper Lolita lifestyle for me without wearing Lolita fashion most of the time. I can definitely feel Lolita without all my frills, but wearing it on the daily helps a lot! ^w^ I helps me feel true to myself and my values; even if it's hard, even if some days I don't feel like dressing up all fancy... In the end I know it's going to make me happy and make my day a lot better!

~ Trying my best to make every aspect of my life suit the Lolita aesthetics!

As I am mostly a Sweet Lolita I can usually get away with anything on the Kawaii side, basically! XD; If I have the choice and it doesn't cost a lot more or doesn't require more effort, I'll pretty much always chose to surround myself with cute or elegant things or at least things that are suited to my colour scheme (usually white or lighter colours).

Most of my hobbies are also suitable to Lolita aesthetic also; Playing cute videogames, watching anime, journaling, reading, cooking/baking, watercolours, tending to my garden, etc... Of course I don't force myself to have hobbies that I don't like or enjoy, but I looked at some that would be suited to the Lolita lifestyle and I try to experiment with some that I think would be fun! ^w^

~ Embracing values that are related to the lifestyle and living according to the Princess Code!

I recently made a blog post about that subject! ^w^ The values related to the Lolita lifestyle really helped me shape myself as a person and become more aligned with what I wanted to be! It gave me something to strive for and work towards. The Princess Code is also very dear to me because it helped me find self-love and practice self-care when I wasn't able to do it in my life! ~

I really think that is an aspect of the Lolita lifestyle that is often overlooked. Most of the lifestyle Lolitas I know aren't doing it for other people or to post pretty pictures of their surroundings to Instagram; they are doing it for themselves, because it help them feel happier and more aligned with who they want to be! :3

I hope you enjoyed my little insight on the subject! ^w^ And to you my lovely readers, are you a lifestyle Lolita? Would you like to be one? ~ Leave me a comment, they are always appreciated! :3

Until next time my pretty lilac bows, stay safe and take care! :3
