September 2021 Lolita Meetup! ~ A Museum Visit!

Hello my little Shortcakes! :3

I'm back on my blog today with the pictures from this month's Lolita meetup with my local community! ^w^ We had it in the beginning of the month and honestly I thought I already shared the pictures on my blog but I didn't... XD; Oh well, better late than never, right? XD;

For this month's meetup we went to our local museum to visit the different exhibitions, including one about videogames! ~ We are all huge geeky/nerdy people so we were very excited for this one! ^w^

Before the visit we all took outfit pictures in front of the museum! :3

Catherine looked wonderful in her dreamy blue skirt! ~ I think that coordinating it with black really made the print stand out nicely! :3

Francis was as elegant as ever in his Ouji outfit with a punk twist! ^w^ I love his new cape and his boots! *v*

Sam looked especially handsome in his outfit! ~ I loved the little blue flowers on his shirt and his bowtie! :3 (For his first try at Ouji fashion, I think he really nailed it! ^w^)

Érika went for a more casual outfit with her PutréFashion clothes since she was staying away from home! ~ I love her jewelry and the cute little bow in her hair! <3

You've already seen my outfit by now but here I am with the Prince also! ^w^ I thought that my Day Dream Carnival print was just elegant enough for a day out at the museum and that dress is also super comfy! :3

And finally the group pictures! ^w^ Can I say that we look very cool together? *v* I love my local Lolita community so much! <3

So after taking our pictures we started the visit! ~ I didn't take a lot of pictures inside the museum because we had to have some gloves on if we wanted to interact with the different exhibitions... ><''

Those wood sculptures were so cute and fun! <3

Overall I had such a nice day out with my local community! :3 I think that we all had a great time and I cannot wait for our next monthly meetup! :3

August 2021 Lolita Meetup! ~ Picnic in a Park!

Hello my little Shortcakes! :3

I'm back on my blog today with a post I haven't done in a while; A Lolita Meetup post! ^w^

Last weekend I was lucky enough to host a meetup for my local Lolita community after more than a year and a half without seeing eachother! ;w; <3 I was so grateful and happy to see everyone back again and we even welcomed a new member into our small local community! ~

Since the weather was beautiful I decided that it  would be a lovely occasion to have a picnic together and then take a couple of pictures in a lovely park after! :3

We first started by eating our lunches since we were all hungry! ~

My lunch wasn't so aesthetic but I had my Hello Kitty bento box and my cute straw basket! ~ Also, our new community member Élodie brought some delicious mochi to share with us! :3 (She really knows how to make new friends! XD)

After our meal, we went to a nearby bridge to take our outfit pictures! ~

This was my outfit! :3 I decided to wear a Country Lolita outfit themed around cats, bows and flowers! ~ I don't wear that beautiful white skirt too often because I am afraid to get it dirty but it was perfect for the meetup on that day! :3

Catherine was so handsome in her Ouji outfit! *v* I think that the neckbow and the striped socks really complete the look perfectly! ~ I also let her borrow my parasol for that picture, hehe! :3

Élodie was so cute in that Country coordinate! ^w^ I cannot believe it was her first coord! ;w; <3 Everything matches so nicely together; her shoes, her bag and all the lovely pearl details through the coord! :3

Jenn looked so wonderful in her handmade skirt! ~ The print is so intricate and very gothic indeed! :3 I also really love the way she styled her hair; those curls suited her so well! ;w; <3

Érika was simply breathtaking in her Lady Sloth jumperskirt and blouse! <3 I love those pearl bracelets that she made especially to match her dress and her Steven Universe necklace also! :3

And the group pictures! :3 Everyone was so wonderful! ;w; <3 I feel so proud of my local community! ~

(I feel like I look like I don't know how to pose but I was trying so had to hide my remote! XD; It was the first time I was using my tripod outside my home also so I was a bit nervous... ><'')

We also took a couple pictures of matching coordinates! :3 Me and Élodie were both in Country so I had to get a picture with her! ;w; Also, Catherine and Jenn look like a wonderful Gothic painting together!! <3

We also took many silly pictures... XD;

Érika was just laughing at us in a corner, hahaha! >w<

It was so fun though, even if we all look terrible! : ' )

Overall I had such a nice day with everyone! ;w; <3 I was so happy to be able to host meetups in person again after so long! ~

It's always an honour to be able to host meetups for our community here, especially since we all live so far away from any big cities in our province... But I want to make sure that every Lolita, either new to the community or veterans like me get a nice experience of wearing the fashion all together! ~ That's what the community is all about, right? ^w^

Saguenay Lolita Meetups! ~ April 2020!

Hello my sweet raspberry parfaits! ~

I know it's been a little while since I posted on my blog... ;w; This last week has been particularly hard for me in terms of my self-care and routine... ^^'' But I am back on blog today with the few pictures from the virtual Lolita meetups I hosted earlier this month! ^^;

My community and I decided to host a virtual Tea Party and we were so fond of it the first time that we repeated it the week after... XD; I will share my outfit pictures for the two events and the ones from our community members that wanted to share theirs. :3

Since it was a Tea Party I decided to wear a tea time themed outfit! ^^; I felt like I haven't worn that jumperskirt in so long and I kinda rediscovered it when I was doing the big cleanup of my closet! ~ I coordinated it with white and accessories themed around bunnies, pearls and polka dots. :3

Catherine was super elegant as usual! :3

Angélique wore her new Toy Parade OP! ^^; I really love the bow in her hair, so cute! ~

Érika looked really gorgeous in her gothic outfit! ~ I really like how she coordinated her bat bolero with that dress. :3

Catherine was making her Lolita debut with us! ^^; I like the balance of the colours in her outfit and her choker is super cute! ~

Renée wore her new tentacle skirt! ~ The colour scheme of her outfit really suited her. :3

I also got a group picture ahaha... Which is basically a screenshot of our zoom meeting. XD;

I made myself a huge teapot of Earl Grey tea for the meetup. :3 I tried to match my teacup to my outfit too! ~

The week after, we decided to host another meetup which was supposed to be a movie night... But we only ended up chatting and spent time together (which was also quite nice too, honestly). ^^;

Since our first idea was to watch Alice in Wonderland together, I decided to wear an Alice themed outfit! ^^; I already wore something similar for a summer Loliday a couple years ago but I wanted this outfit to make a comeback! ~ I am pretty pleased with the balance of the colours even if it isn't my usual was to coordinate outfits, ahah! :3

I also got the Prince to dress up with me as the white rabbit! ^^;

We are so cute, ahah! ^^; I love when the Prince dress up with me! ;o;

Caroline looked very elegant in her black gothic outfit! :3

Sandrine was lovely as usual in her mint flowery jumperskirt, I think it suit her so well! ^^;

I think it was very fun to dress up just for a Lolita meetup, even if it was virtual. ;o; With everything that is happening right now, it's nice to just take our minds off of things for a while and to share a cup of tea and desserts with friends. ^^;
