I've been a lifestyle Lolita for 10 years! ~

Hello my perfectly sweet strawberries! ~

I wanted to take the time today to write a little emotional blog post about something that is very important and dear to me... As the title says, this month is the month where I celebrate my 10th year as a daily and lifestyle Lolita! :3

I remember the young Tomoyo that had just finished high school, with her head full of frilly dreams and her eyes full of sparkles. I knew that I wanted to be a Lolita for as long as I could, but I would never have imagined that it would last that long... I had this feeling that one day "the real world" would take advantage of me and crush me while I let these new blooming flowers wilt before I could do anything...

Yet here I am, 10 years after, still wearing my cute frilly clothes, my lovely armor of battle to face the world pretty much everyday! ~

I don't know if it's something I should be proud about, but I feel extremely proud of myself. I feel proud because I had the courage to keep doing what I love and never give up, I had the courage to find a job that would allow me to wear the frilly clothes that are so dear to my heart, I had the courage to pursue my dreams even if everyone told me to give up, I had the courage to stand up for what I believe in even if the world seemed to be against me sometimes... ;w;

I know that the young 16-17 years old me would be proud. I know that I am walking pretty much exactly the path I dreamed of walking back in the days...

Having my pretty little pastel home filled with plushies, cute toys and flowery antique teacups, having the luck to wake up every morning to the smile of a lovely partner who I call my Prince, getting to work everyday wearing exactly the outfit I feel comfortable and confident in without having to tone it down, meeting up monthly (and locally!) with a community of gorgeous frilly friends that I created myself...

This is the dream that I wanted to achieve. My younger self had that dream but she knew it was silly... She wanted it to happen but she knew it would be harder to achieve... And yet here I am! ;w;

I have so much courage and determination within me that I never knew about... But I am not selfish. I know that right now I am living pretty much what I would call my dream life, but I want others to benefit of it too! So that's why I want to be an inspiration for others. That's why I share my life here, the Lolita meetups, my daily outfits... It's to inspire people that were like the young Tomoyo to pursue their dreams too! ~ If we keep believing in our dreams, we have the power to keep making the sad grey world a wonderful fairytale from our own imagination! :3

I really wanted to reflect on that this month and it took a while to gather my thoughts in order... But that was only the first part of this little "10 years of lifestyle Lolita" celebration! ^w^ I'm going to have a big Q&A about being a daily/lifestyle Lolita post up as soon as I can too! :3

I wanted to wear something casual and simple for my first day back to work after my vacations! ~ So I wore my lovely flowery Country Lolita skirt with a white cutsew and accessories themed around flowers. :3 I haven't worn that skirt in so long and it's been a while since I coordinated it this way too! ;o;

I was being very anxious on that day and I thought that wearing one of my dream dresses would help me get through my work shift a bit better! ;o; So I wore my lilac Milky Planet coordinate with pink, the good old colour combo for me! :3 I coordinated it with accessories themed around ponies and stars! ~ I really don't wear that wonderful bead bracelet often  enough! ^w^

I wore another throwback outfit this time! ^w^ I really like to coordinate that dress with white like I used to wear it back in the days! :3 This time, I coordinated it with accessories themed around hearts, tulle and teatime, which matches the print so nicely! ~ I also loved how I did my makeup on that day too, I love using white eyeshadow!  ^3^

I wasn't feeling very inspired on that day but I knew I wanted to wear Sailor Lolita... So I let my friend Érika choose the colour scheme and the theme of my outfit! XD; So I wore my Sailor Lolita blouse with my lilac skirt and I coordinated it with star accessories inspired by Magical Girls! ^w^ I kind of went a bit more OTT than usual with my accessories because I was so glad that my work week was over... XD;

Finally I am up to date with my outfits now! ^w^ For next week, I am planning a Q&A post to celebrate my 10 years as a daily/lifestyle Lolita! :3 I also may have another secret post planned too but we will see! ~

SagGeek 2019 Haul! ^w^

Hello my pretty silver ribbons! ~

I'm back on my blog today with my haul from the SagGeek! ^w^ I was really wise about my spending this time and I didn't spend too much on things on a whim! XD;

I don't think I got a lot of things but I still wanted to do a small haul on my blog anyway, mainly to showcase the artists and the small shops on my blog! :3

One of the very first things I got during the weekend was this gorgeous Wooloo watercolour painting from Christina! :3 If you didn't know, Wooloo became one of my favourite Pokémon since it was announced. XD; I can't stop sharing fanart of it and I relate to it on a spiritual level. :3 So when I saw this watercolour, I knew I had to have it! The painting even matches my pink and lilac pastel aesthetic, it was ment to be!! *v*

I also got these cute charms by Angelphile! At first I only got the two Sakura ones but they were only 1$ so I splurged and I got the Maid Dragon ones! ^w^ I wore the Tohru one and her tail on my badge all weekend! ~ I really loved them and it felt nice to support such a talented artist! :3

From AniPassion-J I got this Hanamaru keychain! :3 I'm always on the hunt for cute merch from one of my best Love Live girls! XD; When I saw that there was only one Hanamaru left, I couldn't resist! ;o;

Also from AniPassion-J I got this Riko figure! ^w^ It was originally from a blind box but they were also selling opened ones. ~ I have two other figures from that series (Mari and Hanamaru) so Riko will join them on my shelf! :3 I didn't love Riko that much, she wasn't part of my favourite girls from Love Live but she grew on me since I admire the Riko cosplayer from the Love Live Sunrise cosplay group so much so I guess I love Riko now... XD;

I got this adorable Pusheen plushie from the shop Geek n' Pretty! They specialize in Korean beauty products but they also had a few cute goodies like water bottles, makeup pouches and Pusheen merch like this plushie! :3 This one is a Pusheen box exclusive from the Winter 2018 box! ~ DD and Jenn found it for me and when I saw them waving at me with it I KNEW it was this one! XD; It's probably my favourite Pusheen box exclusive plushie so I was so glad to finally get her. ;o; I didn't expect to see her for sale ever, especially at such a good price! TwT I felt blessed and it's always so nice to welcome a new member to the Pusheen family. :3

Finally, I didn't got this one but the Prince got it for me or both of us since it was going to find it's home on our common gaming shelf! :3 The shop he bought it from was Potato & Pickle I think! ^w^ Cosmog is one of my favourite Pokemon from the Alola region so I was really happy to have a hama of it! :3 I think that some of the beads are glow in the dark too? ~ I need to find a way to hang it somewhere he can float freely! XD;

So that was it for my SagGeek 2019 haul! :3 I have another post planned for this week which will probably be an outfit post since I was waiting for it to be juicy enough to post it haha! XD; So see you later this weekend probably! ~

SagGeek 2019 Review! ~ Sunday July 21th!

Hello my cute plumeria flowers! :3

On my blog post today I'll do the review of my last day at the SagGeek this year! ^w^ I mostly did my Lolita Fashion 102 panel on that day and it was kind of a more relax day (as usual for a last day of a convention). ~

So let's start with my outfit for the Sunday! ^w^

I wanted to wear a more intricate coordinate since I was going to explain how to coordinate outfits for my panel on that day! ^w^ I love how this coordinate turned out! I like to pair this jumperskirt with red and I think the little touches of pink really makes the print stand out more! ~

When I arrived at the convention I had a little free time before my panel so I searched around the convention for my friend Érika which was in Nozomi that day! ^^

Of course I got to take a picture with one my favourite Love Live girls! :3

After that I prepared for my panel. ~ I was a little bit nervous since I feel like they gave me a bigger room than the other day and it was right in the middle of the hall... XD; It was the first time I was giving my Lolita Fashion 102 panel and I didn't had a lot of time to prepare so I was hoping everything would be fine... ;w;

The Prince, DD and Jenn took some pictures during my panel! :3 It was more of a chatting/tips panel so it's mostly me talking but I thought I would share some of them anyway. ^w^

There was quite a lot of people at my second panel! ^w^ I was very happy since pretty much all our Lolita community was there! ~

I felt accomplished sharing my tips and my knowledge with them! :3

Talking about the Lolita lifestyle! ^w^ This part was probably my favourite one to explain and share! ~

I was feeling very sereine and happy after I finished my second panel! :3 It was one of my goals this year to share more information and knowledge about the fashion with my community so I was proud of me! ^w^

After my panel, it was lunch time and most importantly Pokemon league time! ~

I was carrying my Sylveon plushie with me when I was on my gym leader duty and Francis got a cute Pancham plushie on that weekend so they had to pose together! ^w^

I gathered with a few of the gym leaders and we hung around the convention together waiting for opponents for a while! I loved being a gym leader, it was such a nice experience in more serious competition battles and I am looking forward learning more and more about it as the time goes by! ~

I also did a last trip to the dealer's room! ~ I did found a few more things that I liked that weren't gone by the last day. :3

The Prince got a Cosmog hama for me! ^w^ (Technically it's for him too, it's going to go on our gaming shelf that is shared between to the of us! :3)

After my last trip to the dealer's room it was time for the award ceremony and the end of the convention. ;o;

Audrey was so pretty in her Princess Peach cosplay! ^w^

Both of the people that I knew that participated in the mascarade got awards! ~ I felt so proud and happy for them! :3

Of course a convention isn't complete if I don't put unwanted bunny ears on the Prince, haha! XD; Meet the cute bunny pirate! ^w^

After the convention I decided to go to Chocolat Favoris with our friend squad! :3

I tried the new melon flavour with lime ice cream! ~ It was... interesting. XD;

Overall I had a nice convention! I was glad I got the chance to give my panels and share some knowledge about the fashion with new people and with my Lolita community. I also could practice being a proper Pokemon gym leader for the first time which was a nice experience too! ^w^ I saw some lovely cosplays, spent some time with my friends and got some pretty things from the dealer's room also. :3
