Daily Outfits! ~ July 8th to July 18th!

Hello my twinkling little stars! ~

I'm back on my blog today with a huge outfit post, including my outfits from the last two weeks! ^w^ I wanted to share my outfits before the long stream of SagGeek posts incoming in the next few weeks because these outfits were older. ~

So it will be a long one; I have 7 outfits to share! :3 As usual they were worn to work unless stated otherwise! ^w^

I wanted to wear something simple and casual on that day so I wore my plain lilac skirt with pink but I coordinated it with socks and accessories themed around candies for an interesting touch. :3 I really missed wearing that big obnoxious tulle ring. XD It's so impractical but it's so pretty too! ;o;

I really love wearing my Sheep Garden jumperskirt in summer! :3 It's such a cute print for the warmer months and I especially love to coordinate it in a Country Lolita way! ^w^ This time I wore it in a monochrome peachy pink coordinate themed around flowers. ~

For my last day of work before my vacations I decided to wear something a bit unusual for me! ^w^ I coordinated my Milky Berry jumperskirt with blue! ~ I think the blue goes nicely with the print because there is some little blue-ish/grey details in it too! :3 I kept a polka dots and bunny theme with my accessories! ~

I was feeling a bit under the weather that day and I was like... I think that dressing up cutely would make me feel better and more productive. XD; So I wore a simple outfit with my Royal Poodle jumperskirt coordinated with white. ~

I wanted to wear something comfortable and casual for that day so I coordinated my light blue Anna House skirt with light pink and accessories themed around bunnies. ~

I wanted to wear an outfit inspired by the colour scheme of my "main" Pokémon for my gym leader team; Sylveon! :3 So I wore my Cat Embroidery skirt with my light blue blouse. ~ I chose accessories themed around cats, hearts and bows! :3

I wanted to wear something comfy with a skirt since it was very hot out on that day... ^w^'' So I coordinated my Fantastic Dolly lilac skirt with pink and simple accessories for this look. ~

Anime Review! ~ Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon!

Hello my sweet caramel ice cream cones! :3

I knew I said that I was going to get back on my posting schedule on my blog last week but I was so busy preparing my panels and my Pokémon team for our local Pokemon league for the SagGeek next weekend that I completely forgot to take some time for blogging... ^w^''

However, I am back on my blog today with an anime review! ~ I watched that anime back in March/April and I really wanted to write a review for it so here we are today! :3

Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon

Maid Dragon is an anime of 13 episodes (plus a special one) that aired in 2017. ~ I watched the first episode of the series at the anime club but I finished it at home with the Prince! ^w^

Story

The story is about the life of Kobayashi-san and her dragon maid, Tohru, that she invited to work at her house. Tohru than presented her her other dragon friends from the other world and try to get used to as the life on earth much as she can... But her kind of tragic past came to crawl up on her more quickly than she thought... OwO

This anime is kind of paced like a slice of life anime which is something that I liked for such a short anime. They didn't have much place for the story development so they kept it quite simple and easy to follow. I didn't expect it to like it quite as much, but the end bits and the backstory are quite something. It may seem like a cute slice of life anime with a cute maid dragon girl and her friends but it is really powerful and it have such nice messages and themes in the end. ~

Art

The drawings were very pretty and quite usual and fitting for that type of anime. I personally think that this anime will age pretty well since it have quite a "regular" drawing style. There are a few more dynamic actions scenes in the anime and I thought that they were nicely animated and very "flowy" for what they were! ~

Sound

The voice of the characters were mostly fitting. They had a nice charisma and expression in their voice and none of them seemed off to me. The background music was nice and easily recognizable depending of the vibes of the scenes and the situations. The opening and ending songs were very catchy and entertaining! ^w^

Characters

I loved the characters and I thought that some of them were very relatable, at least for me! I personally didn't expect this much character development in such a short and light anime. On some episodes I would smile, cry and laugh in the same episode! TwT The characters were so well written and had kind of a profound side to their personalities. It's not the case for every character but the main ones are really well developed through the pace of the anime which is something I appreciated a lot! :3

Enjoyment

I really enjoyed this anime! ~ I thought at first that would be a light and heartwarming anime with cute characters and humour... But I was pleasantly surprised with deeper themes and some nice character development through the anime and I didn't expect it at all! :3

Overall, I give Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon a rating of 10 out of 10!

I hope you liked my little anime review! :3 There is at least another one that I have planned and I am currently watching shorter animes so expect some more anime reviews in the near future! ~

Hello my sugary funfetti ice creams! ~

I know I haven't been really active on my blog lately but I've been so busy with family stuff, being sick and preparing my panels for the SagGeek that I haven't been able to invest as much time as I would like into blogging during the last weeks... ;w; But don't worry, I'm going to be on vacation until the month of August in two days! ^w^ I cannot wait since I have so many fun things planned for my vacations this summer! :3

I really like pairing light blue and red together! ^w^ So I decided to wear that colour combo for this Country Lolita outfit! ~ I chose accessories themed around strawberries to match the skirt and I think that the pearl bracelets make this look a little bit more elegant and fancy. ~

I wanted to wear one of my OTT prints in a more simple way for work, so I coordinated my Milky Planet lilac jumperskirt with white and some touches of pink. :3 I tried to not wear too much accessories and keep them simple. ~ I think that my rainbow bag is the star of the outfit and complements it nicely. ^w^

I wanted to wear something casual and monochrome on that day! ~ So I paired my pink Anna House skirt with a pink cutsew. :3 I think the small touches of white and the pearl on the bows really make that outfit more interesting. ~

Another creative colour scheme with a Country Lolita outfit! ^w^ I decided to wear my red jumperskirt with white and some small touches of pink! :3 I think it looked very lovely and elegant with the wristcuffs! ~ I realized when I was at work that the strawberry ring didn't really match with the outfit and I wore it because I am so used to pair my strawberry accessories with Country Lolita... XD; A plain bow ring in red would have been better. :3

I wanted to wear my Lovely Forest with light pink and my bunny accessories! ^w^ I haven't worn that outfit in so long and it's one of my favourite ways to coordinate that print! ~ I love to make the animal theme stand out! :3
