Lush Haul! ^w^

Hello my fluffy pink ponies! :3

I'm back on my blog today with something I haven't done in a while; A haul! ^^; More precisely, a Lush haul! ~

Since I've been stuck home lately I have much more time to take care of myself and that includes taking more relaxing baths! :3 So I decided to treat myself with Lush after not buying from them in a while! It's been probably more than a year since I haven't bought anything from Lush so I was super excited to place an order for a few items hehe... ^^;

I wanted to make a little review and first impressions of the things I bought because for the most part it's all new products that I'm trying for the first time! :3

I ordered 5 bath bombs, a bubble bar and a massage bar. ~

Here is everything I ordered!

From left to right and top to bottom; Lucky Cat, Groovy Kind of Love, Rose Clay Salt Cube, The Comforter, Unicorn Horn Bubble Bar, Marshmallow World and Shimmy Shimmy Massage Bar! ^^;

I'll do a small review/first impressions of each of the items and a more in depth review of the two items that I got the chance to try since receiving my order. :3

~ Lucky Cat ~

Firstly, isn't it SO CUTE! *v* It's one of the few bath bombs I ordered that have glitters in it but oh gosh did it deliver in the glitters area! XD; It's supposed to be jasmine scented but I think the smell is a bit more sweet than floral actually! It smells more like vanilla/marshmallow in my opinion! ~ I really can't wait to use it soon! :3

~ Groovy Kind of Love ~

Of course I got it because it was rainbow, hehe. :3 Out of all the products that I bought this is the one that smells the most fruity and fresh! Probably because of the bergamot oil in it. It isn't too overpowering because the scent is more fresh rather than sweet, it does smell a bit sweet though but definitely more fruity. ~

~ Rose Clay Salt Cube ~

Out of all the products that I got in my order, this one is probably the one with the most underwhelming scent. It isn't a bad scent but I feel like I think I was more into rose scented stuff that I truly am... XD; It does smell very faint and I think that the top part and the bottom part doesn't smell the same? However the scent is very floral and very faint... ^^''

~ The Comforter ~

The first impression I got of this bath bomb was how HUGE it was! XD; It's shaped like a little raspberry and it's very cute. ^^; It's supposed to smell like blackcurrants and it definitely have that sweet berry smell. ~ It's more sweet than fruity but it's a lovely scent in my opinion. :3 It's also the only bath bomb I tried and I loved it! ~ Firstly, it did fizz for like 12-15 minutes because it was so huge! XD; It started with bright raspberry pink bubbles and as it was fizzing it left some milky/white bubbles. When it finished fizzing, it left my bath water a nice milky purple-ish pink. ^^; The scent also lasted for all the duration of my bath. :3 It wasn't overly moisturizing but it left my skin feeling smooth. ~

~ Unicorn Horn Bubble Bar ~

This one is probably a Lush classic in my opinion! ^^; I don't think I ever got the chance to try it before though. I was surprised because the scent wasn't very sweet, despite the name, the bright colors and the glitters! They say it smells like lavender which it definitely does and the smell wasn't overpowering at all. I can't wait to try it, it should be exciting! ^^;

~ Marshmallow World ~

This bath bomb is probably my favourite smelling one from the bunch, and it's probably the most strong smelling one I got! *v* It literally smells like a marshmallow, super sweet and yummy. :3 The smells remind me a lot of the Creamy Candy bubble bar too! The scent might be too sweet for some people though, but if you love over the top sugary sweetness like me you will like this bath bomb, haha! ^^;

~ Shimmy Shimmy Massage Bar ~

I already tried this massage bar years ago when I first discovered Lush! ^^; I think that they may have changed their formula because I swear the glitters used to be more gold-toned and in this one they are more silver/white which is something I prefer for myself! :3 I think that it's a bit less glittery than what I remember but it have a decent amount of glitters anyway, I just enjoy glitters too much haha! XD; The scent is not overpowering and not faint either, it smells like sweet white hot chocolate with a small hint of peppermint. :3 Definitely more sweet than what I remembered but I prefer it that way haha! XD; I tried it with the Prince and it does work nicely as a massage bar, very hydrating and it leaves your skin feels soft even the day after using it. :3

So that was a little Lush review and first impressions! ^^; I hope you enjoy these kind of posts because I really do enjoy making them! :3

Quebec City Shopping Haul! ~

Hello my sweet dandelions! ~

I wanted to share my little shopping haul from my Quebec city trip when I went to Nadeshicon. ^w^ Our group arrived a day early in Quebec city to do some shopping before the convention. ~

Here's a picture of EVERYTHING I got, both at the mall and at the convention. XD; Putting it all together like that, it look a lot more than I thought. ^w^''

I visited two big malls, the Galeries de la Capitale on Thursday and Place Laurier on Friday! ~ I think I was pretty reasonable with my purchases though! XD;

Here is what I got at the mall only. ~

Let's start with what I got at the Galeries de la Capitale. ^w^

Our first stop was the Univers Toutou! ~ This shop is similar to Build-a-Bear, you make your own plushie! It's kind of a tradition for me, each time I go shopping at the Galeries de la Capitale I make a plushie there. ^w^ This time, I chose a cute white and lilac bunny and I named her Kira-Hime! :3 She's so cute with the little sparkles in her eyes. ^w^

After that, we went to Sephora! It was the first time I went to a mall with a Sephora and I had an actual interest in quality makeup. XD; I spent a lot of time choosing what I wanted, but I settled for the new Fairy Tears lipstick by Too Faced! ~ I had a look at it online but when I swatched it in the store I knew I had to have it. XD; It appears yellow in the tube but when you apply it it turns into a nice shimmery cool pink with LOTS of glitter! ^w^ I've been wearing it a lot during my trip, I couldn't help myself. XD;

Now, let continue with the things I bought at Place Laurier! ~

Our first stop was l'Imaginaire but I didn't get anything for myself. XD; But I got the Prince some amazing birthday presents there! ^w^

We went at Claire's after our stop at the Starbucks. ~ I got some Pusheen blind boxes that I haven't had the chance to find in Saguenay and a huge bunny peeps plushie! ^w^ The big plushie was on sale after Easter so I only got it for around 6$ instead of 25$. XD; The funny thing is that I had bought the smaller bunny peeps plushie the week before for the full price of 8$. ^w^'' The big one ended up costing me less than the smaller one... XD; I was also super happy with what I got in my Pusheen blind boxes! I really wanted the white pegasus. ^w^

We also went at Lush after that. ~ I got some bath bombs, bubble bars a single bath melt and a lip scrub. :3 For the bath bombs and the bubble bars I chose from left to right on the picture: Pink, April Showers (I think, it's not available anymore on their website. ^w^''), A french kiss, Twilight, Melty Marshmallow Moment (which is a bath melt), Rose Jam and Milky Bath. As for the lip scrub I chose my favourite one: Bubblegum! ^w^ Now I don't need any bath bombs or bubble bears until Fall! XD;

We went at Bath and Body Works after that! ^w^ I already had a lot of their products left but I really wanted one of their candles and as I was there since there was a sale I splurged for two shower gels and a moisturizer. XD; For the candle I chose one that smelled like strawberry cupcakes. ^w^ I totally chose it because of the "Girl Power" packaging though, as I need a meaningful candle for my witchcraft too. ~ For the shower gels and the moisturizer I chose two scents I haven't tried before: Pink Chiffon, which smells like flowers and a little touch of vanilla and Pretty as a Peach which smells lightly of sugary peaches. ^w^

Our final stop at Place Laurier was the Sunrise! We have one here in Saguenay and the Prince wanted a shirt from there when we went to it a while ago here... So I took a look if they had it in Quebec and they did! ^w^ Since there was a sale I also got a Bananya t-shirt for me too as I saw it here in Saguenay too and I really wanted it! XD; I also got one of the Pusheen plushies I was searching for my collection: The Pusheenicorn! ^w^ Finally, I grabbed a Bananya figure since I already had two other ones from this collection and I wanted the original one too but it got sold out here in Saguenay! ^w^ (And since I was already getting the shirt, I got all in! XD)

So that was everything I got at the malls during our little shopping trip to Quebec city! ^w^ I'm happy I only got things I knew I liked and I needed so I cherish everything a lot. ~

Lush Order!

Hello sweeties! ^w^

Today I decided to share my Lush order that I just received this afternoon! ~

I'll try to review each product's smell as much as possible as I won't do try outs or videos for the sake of the review only. XD; Since I usually save my Lush products for special occasions, this bunch of bath products should last me at least 3 months... Which would be in my opinion a little too late to make a blog post on it. ^^''

Here was my package as I received it! It was very rainy and humid outside today and the postman left it on my porch in the melting snow... I wasn't super happy about it but the products inside were fine. ~w~''

Here is everything I ordered! I got four bath bombs, two luxury bath oils and two bubble bars. ~

I wanted to try new products from their year-round collection because I wanted to discover new favourites. :3

Small Bath Bombs

I got Butterball and Pink!

Butterball: It have a lovely creamy vanilla smell. :3 I really love sweet and vanilla scented products so I really wanted to try this one. ^w^ I believe the colours won't be as exciting in the bath as their bigger bath bombs but since it's one of their smaller ones I don't really mind.

Pink: This one is one of my all time favourite bath bombs from Lush! It smells like candy, but not too sickenly sweet! I love that it turns the bath into a lovely colour, and there's some cute heart shaped confetti inside. For around 5 dollars, it's one of their most impressive bath bombs for the price. ^w^

Bigger Bath Bombs

I got Blackberry and Rose Bombshell!

Blackberry: It smells a lot stronger than what I expected! It have a musky scent of strong berries but I think it also smells a little flowery? I usually love fruity smells to bits so I can't wait to try it!

Rose Bombshell: This one is from their Valentine's Day collection! I couldn't resist! ^w^'' I usually love flowery scents form Lush because I think that even if it's a flowery scent, it always end up smelling a little sweet too? XD; This one doesn't make an exception. ~ It smells a lot like roses, but I think it have a little sweet touch to it too!

Luxury Bath Oils

I got Razzle Dazzle and MMMelting Marshmallow Moment!

Razzle Dazzle: It smells like fruity, tangy raspberries! Raspberries are one of my favourite type of berry so I had to get this bath oil. ~ Also, these are ridiculously cheap (3,50$) and this one is bigger than I thought!

MMMelting Marshmallow Moment: It's the first bath oil I ever tried. ^w^ I smells very sweet, soft and creamy, just like a marshmallow. ~ Also, if I remember correctly they have a bunch of glitters in it! I really like Lush bath oils because sometimes their bath bombs can be a liiiitle bit drying for my overly dry skin, so these would be perfect for the end of winter, as I am a very dried little blob that still want to enjoy baths. XD;

Bubble Bars

I got Milky Bath and Dreamy Candy!

Milky Bath: I wanted to try this one for so long! I really like the little milk bottle shape, it's so cute! ^w^ It smells very faintly sweet and creamy. ~ The description says that it's super hydrating for the skin, so I can't wait to try it out!

Dreamy Candy: The last but not least, Dreamy Candy, my favourite bubble bar ever! It turns your bath pink, it smells like candy and I can use it at least 2 times! For around 7$ it's a must have it you are a sweet & pink lover like me! ^w^

I also got a freebie: Coalface!

I believe it's one of their exfoliating facial cleansers? Yay! I can't wait to try it! I haven't tried their facial cleansers before so it will be a first time for me! ~ It smells like strong black liquorice, which is a smell I like. XD; It also have a teeny tiny sweet smell to it which makes it more exciting to try, at least for me! ^w^

Overall I am really happy with my order! I can't wait to try everything I bought! :3
