I'm back on my blog today with my review of the year 2019! :3 Better a bit late than never, haha! XD; These posts tend to be a bit longer than most so let's start right away! ^w^

~ January ~
~ I am in recovery from my surgery for most of the month.
~ I mostly stay at home (when I don't have any appointments at the hospital) and take the time to rest since my energy level is super low... ^w^''
~ February ~
~ DD is in town! We go out for brunch at Cora's! ^w^
~ I get back to work after being in recovery for 2 months!
~ I dress up in Fairy-Kei (for the very few times of the year, lol) and I go play videogames and have yummy cocktails at Sophie's house! ^w^
~ I go hang out for a day at Érika's place for the first time and we go out for brunch together! :3
~ It's Valentine's day! The Prince offer me flowers, a card and chocolate and we have a cosy dinner at home. <3
~ I go to another furry meetup! ^w^ We went bowling this time!
~ I host the first Lolita meetup of the year at the Chocolaterie au Coeur Fondant! :3
~ March ~
~ It's Érika's birthday party!
~ I refresh my hair with a darker pink colour and some purple highlights! ^w^
~ I host a crafting & tea Lolita meetup at my house! :3
~ I have a little "off-Nadeshicon" with Érika since both of us can't go that year... ^w^'' I dressup as a Neko-Loli-Maido and we make homemade onigiri and bubble tea! OwO
~ April ~
~ It's the Prince's birthday party! :3 We go out at the Versus with our friends and I offer him a handmade dragon plushie (that I made with Érika's help ^w^)!
~ We also went out for brunch at Ben & Florentine on his actual birthday! :3
~ I host a casual Lolita meetup at the Studio Black Zombie, which I also visit for the first time!
~ I host an Easter Lolita meetup and we have brunch at Cora's!
~ We go out for a fancy dinner for the Prince's mom birthday at La Cuisine!
~ May ~
~ I host a last minute casual meetup at Chocolat Favoris since Yuni was in town and it ended up being the biggest meetup I ever hosted! XD;
~ I hang out with Catherine at the Black Zombie and we played videogames together! :3
~ I host a Lolita meetup at the bowling alley and we went to get ice cream after! ^w^
~ We go out shopping with Sophie & her partner Zack for her birthday and we tried Mr. Pretzels for the first time! :3
~ We got the May Tokyo Treat box; and the only Japanese snack box I got this year! XD;
~ June ~
~ It's the Summer International Lolita Day! ^w^ Yuni is back in town again for the meetup I host for the Lolita community! :3 We went for a picnic and photoshoot at a cute park by the river and we pig out at a buffet in the evening! OwO
~ I experiment with my style a lot during the summer; I tried a mix of Gothic & Country Lolita for a bubble tea date out with my friend Mason! :3
~ I joined the Pokémon gym leader league here in Saguenay and my type is Fairy, of course! ^w^
~ I bake lemon cupcakes and I celebrate Litha with Mason; I introduce them to witchcraft a bit! :3
~ I host a Harajuku BBQ meetup at my place with a couple of my alternative friends! :3 I dress up DD in Lolita fashion for the first time! ^w^
~ July ~
~ I use a lot of my free time to work on my panels for the SagGeek! ^^''
~ I have a small meetup with the other Pokémon gym leaders from our local league and I see my artwork for our promotional poster! *o*
~ DD is in town again for the SagGeek! ^w^
~ It's the SagGeek!! *w* I dress up in Hime-Lolita for the Harry Potter ball!
~ Second day of the SagGeek! I host my Lolita Fashion 101 panel for the third time ever and with actual models this time! XD;
~ Third day of the SagGeek! I host my Lolita Fashion 102 panel which was very successful and I wrap up the convention at Chocolat Favoris with the squad. :3
~ August ~
~ I have bubble tea dates with my friend Mason pretty much every week and they make me confident about myself so I tried new colour schemes with my outfits! ^w^
~ I dress up in a space themed Fairy-Kei outfit to go play videogames with Marie and Nico! :3
~ I host a Lolita meetup where we have a picnic and a photoshoot at another park in my city! ^w^
~ It's Claudia's birthday party and I dress up in matching gothic outfits with Érika! ^^;
~ September ~
~ It's my birthday party! ^w^ The theme was Fantasy! :3
~ I have a sleepover at Érika's place; We did witchcraft in the woods, painted our nails and try to make weird drinks... XD;
~ It's Mason & Sandrine's birthday and the last time I went to le Versus before it closed down... ;w;
~ October ~
~ Érika hosted a Pandora Hearts themed tea party and I dressed up with Emily's colour scheme! ^^;
~ I went to my hometown by myself for the first time in years and I get my hair colour redone! :3
~ I take a weekend off completely to myself for self-care because I really need it... ^w^''
~ I finally receive the new pairs of shoes the Prince ordered me for my birthday! ^w^
~ November ~
~ I work a lot during the beginning of November so I don't have a lot of free time to myself... ;w;''
~ I dress up creatively again to meet up with Mason for a bubble tea date just like back in the summer... :3
~ It's the Prince's work Holiday party! ^^;
~ We have a winter event for our local Pokémon League! ^w^ I dressed up in Alolan Eevee colour scheme for the occasion. :3
~ December ~
~ It's the winter Loliday! ^w^ We went for tea, shopping downtown and I try Shogun Sushi for the first time! :3
~ I send lots of Holiday cards to my faraway friends! :3
~ It's my work's Holiday party! ^^
~ I go Holiday shopping with Mason and I go to Starbucks for like, the third time in my life... XD;
~ I host a small pyjama party for Yule with some of my close friends. :3
~ I get a new iPhone after... 3 1/2 years of owning my old one. XD;
~ I have a little coffee date with Catherine. :3 (And I'm totally using that picture to showcase the change of quality with my new phone... XD)
~ I go see Frozen 2 at the movie theatre with Jenn! ^w^
So that was my year 2019 in review! :3 I'm really glad of everything that I accomplished last year and I'm really looking forward the year ahead! I feel like I have so many projects to tackle and things I want to do and that makes me excited for the future! ^w^
As for my resolutions from last year, I think I accomplished the majority of them overall! For this year I think I'm going to have fewer of them and see them more as "guidelines" in my life more than actual resolutions per se. ~
~ Resolutions 2020! ~
~ Take more time for self-care routines and reflexion; daily and weekly. (Taking care of my body and my mind too!)
~ Host at least one Lolita meetup each month, even if it's just a casual meetup!
~ Get back to my blogging routine and post weekly on that blog! (I also think I want to get back to posting my outfits each week/two weeks like I used to do before!)
~ Replace the pieces that needs to be replaced in my closet and add a few new pieces (or accessories) to refresh my outfits!
~ Have a little bucket list/to-do list for each month with the things I need to do or what I want to accomplish for the month.
~ Finish at least 10 animes this year! (Priorising the "classics" from my favourite genres that I haven't watched yet!)
~ Go thrifting as often as possible to expand my collections (Vintage toys/plushies, Hello Kitty, antique teacups, etc...)
~ Continue to have activities with my close friends or with small group of friends as often as possible! ^w^ (I aim for at least one "friend date" a month! :3)
~ Get back into creative work and projects that are important and meaningful to me; Writing, role-playing, sewing, DIY projects in general, etc...
