SagGeek 2019 Review! ~ Saturday July 20th!

I'm back on my blog today with the second day of my SagGeek review! ^w^ On Saturday I gave my Lolita Fashion 101 panel and it was also the masquerade! ~

Here was my outfit for the second day of the convention! ^w^

I decided to wear my Day Dream Carnival jumperskirt since I don't wear it out a lot except on special occasions, it's such a fancy dress to me! ^w^'' I coordinated it with blue and accessories themed around flowers, stars and candies. ~ It was kind of hard to coordinate that dress with blue since I feel like the print goes better with pink or white... But I think it turned out nicely anyway. :3

My panel Lolita Fashion 101 was the first thing in the morning! ~ I really like having my panels in the morning so I don't stress out too much about it all day. ^w^'' I learned it the hard way last year... ;w;

I'm going to share a couple of pictures from my panel. :3 (Thank to DD and the Prince for the pictures! ^w^)

I was a lot less nervous and I think it kinda shows. ~

Explaining things to avoid in the fashion with the (counter) example of my handmade skirt... I love my disgusted face? XD;

Finally, explaining where to buy the clothes and accessories. ^w^

The Prince and DD took a lot of pictures so it was kind of hard to choose from all of them so sorry if there may seem like there is a lot. XD; (I think the Prince had over 100 pictures... ^w^'')

DD also took some pictures of me with the models from my panel; Catherine, Érika and our Ouji accessory Alex! XD; (It's a joke, he knows I appreciate him a lot. ^w^)

After my panel my level of stress went down and I finally could sit down and eat a bit. (I didn't had any breakfast so I was starving. ;w;'')

I also filled my Gym Leader functions for the first time of the weekend! Congratulation for winning my badge, hehe. :3 (That Chansey was especially strong!)

During the afternoon I mainly hung around with friends and I took some pictures around the convention. ^w^

Arekuh in his Vocaloid cosplay! (I forgot which character he was though. XD)

My friend Jenn in her gorgeous victorian outfit! ~ I really loved how she styled her hair! :3

I also took a picture with Miyu in her victorian dress Nozomi cosplay! :3 I remember that she told me about that cosplay last year and I was so happy to finally see her wear it and especially to get a picture with her! ;o; Look at how happy I look on the picture with both of us! XD; It was one of the highlights of the convention for me honestly. :3

I also went to the vendor's hall again and I found another Pusheen friend for my collection! ^w^ It's a Pusheen Box exclusive so I wasn't expecting it to see it for sale, especially locally!! ;o;

In the middle of the afternoon it was Érika's panel about the Final Fantasy TCG! ~ Even if I didn't know anything about Final Fantasy or even TCGs I thought that the panel was a great introduction; Everything was easy to understand and and I kind of want to start playing now! XD;

 

After that I hanged around with Mason for a while and they wanted their picture taken with this guy and Kylo Ren... XD;

I also got a little present for Érika since she is my friend and I love her! XD; (I got her this print and also two Chocobo bookmarks! ~)

Mason and I also decided to explore the gaming room! ~ The gaming room was jam packed! I wanted to play retro games and the arcades but there was always too much people in line... ^w^'' So in the end we tried this game where we had to defuse a bomb, it was kind of hard to be honest but it was funny. XD;

In the end of the afternoon, it was time for the masquerade! ~

They made people play a game while we were waiting for them to get ready and Angélique, Mason and Sandrine got up to play and dance on stage. XD;

One of the judges for the masquerade was wearing a Princess Tutu cosplay! ;o; I'm so sad I didn't get a picture with her earlier during the day... ;w;

There wasn't a lot of cosplays that I recognized and/or that are part of my fandoms this year... ;3; So I mostly took picture of the people I knew. XD;

One of Yannick's friends was toothless! It was so cute and I loved her skit! ~

My friend Karo also presented a skit too! ~

After the masquerade there wasn't a lot of things to do around the convention and I was kind of getting tired so I went back home a little bit earlier than expected... ;w; It's always a bit sad to leave a convention early, especially on a Saturday night. D:

But overall I had a great day, I saw some amazing cosplays and I was glad to hang out with my friends again for the second day of the convention! ^w^

SagGeek 2019 Review! ~ Friday July 19th!

I'm back on my blog today with the first part of my SagGeek 2019 review! ^w^ As I did last year I'll do each day separately just so it is easier for me as opposite of a lonnnng post with all my pictures. ^w^''

So let's start now with my outfit for the first day of the SagGeek this year! ~

Since there was the Harry Potter ball on Friday night I decided to wear something super elegant for the occasion. :3 So I wore a Hime-Lolita outfit all in white! ~ I felt like a very elegant princess and I really liked to wear my pretty crown out for a change! ^w^

The first thing the Prince and I did when we arrived at the convention was to scavenge the dealer's room! XD;

I saw my pretty friend Eva at her booth in her lovely retro dress, so cute! ^w^

I got a gorgeous Wooloo watercolour! ~ As soon as I saw it I knew I had to get it, I love this Pokémon so much with my whole heart! XD;

I also got some lovely charms of Tohru and the star key from Sakura Card Captor! ^w^

I also got other things from the dealer's room but I don't want to spoil them all yet, stay tuned for my SagGeek haul soon hehe! :3

After that the Prince and I were starving so we sat down for a while and ate our meal (while I was looking at my purchases! XD).

We then decided to walk around the convention to see if there was any pretty cosplays (or pretty friends) I could get a picture with. ~

I saw this cute Kanna cosplayer! ;o; I don't see people cosplaying from my fandoms often, especially at my local convention for I was so excited to get a picture with her! ^3^ She was super sweet and nice too! :3 Go give her a follow on her Facebook page and on her Instagram! ~

Renée was there with her LARP squad too! ^w^ Isn't she so cool with her outfit? ~

There was one panel I was really interested to on Friday night and it was Eva's panel about Furries! :3

It was kind of an introduction panel about the fandom and she really explained everything super well! ^w^ Since I took part in some of their meetups I was already informed about some of the basics; I did some research on my own. But it was nice to have a little refresh coming from the source itself! XD;

After Eva's panel we had some time to get ready for the Harry Potter ball! ~ Since I was already in my fancy outfit I took the time to hang around and chat with friends for a little while. :3

They were in their house themed outfits for the ball of course! ^w^ Francis was such a nice master of ceremony for the ball! And Claudia was gorgeous in her pretty Hufflepuff gown! ~ (I'm trying to look serious and elegant on this picture but I cannot seem to succeed at that apparently... I'm too much of a sweet and cute girl! XD)

Finally it was time for the Harry Potter themed ball to start! ~ We got sorted into our houses and there was some games between the dances too! ^w^

I was so far from the Prince! XD; (I'm a Hufflepuff and he's a Slytherin. ^w^'')

I got to dance a couple of waltzes with the Prince and I even got invited to dance by a mysterious young Hufflepuff lady too? XD; It was funny because I didn't expect to get invited to dance at all. ^3^''

Sadly I had to get home early before the end of the ball since I needed to get ready for my panel the following morning. ;w; I wish I could have stayed longer, it was so much fun! ~
