Lolita Blog Carnival! ~ What Types Of Topics Would You Like Covered In A Lolita Panel?

Today on my blog I'm going to participate in another Lolita Blog carnival for this week! ~

The subject for this week was pretty interesting for me since I am putting up together two Lolita panels for the SagGeek this year again so I thought it would be nice to participate in it and also share some other inputs from other Lolitas! ^w^

What Types Of Topics Would You Like Covered In A Lolita Panel?

For a little bit of context; I only went to about 2 or 3 Lolita panels at conventions so I don't have a lot of experience in it, but I thought it would be nice to point out things that was a bit "missing" from the Lolita panels I went to as well as some personal preferences. ~

I won't really cover the basic like what's the element of an outfit, the different styles and where to get the clothes because I really think that they are staples in a basic Lolita panel and I thought it would be nice to share some different input and perspective. :3

Ressources/shops for plus-sized Lolitas

As a plus-sized Lolita, this go without saying that this is very important to me to mention. I also realized that "plus-size" in Lolita starts a bit below of what it would be considered plus-size here in Canada when I saw some of my friends which were regular-sized needed to get custom sized clothes. ^w^'' So I was surprised that this was some information and ressources very much needed for a panel, it can also helps everyone with unusual measurements or proportions.

Also, for the bigger end of plus-sized, it always nice to know that there are ressources for us and that we aren't a lost cause. XD; For exemple, recommendation on where to get custom sized everything, custom sized winter coats and boots and the like. Also where can we get shoes for wider feet or socks that fit big calves. ~

Information about the Lolita Lifestyle

As a lifestyle Lolita, this is also something that I think is very overlooked in Lolita panels. I think it would be nice to have some information about the Lolita lifestyle and the hobbies that fit into the aesthetic of the fashion. How can someone "Lolify" their lives and become more of a lifestyle Lolita if they are interested in it. ~ What are the values related to the lifestyle? How can someone become a better lifestyle Lolita?

It would maybe be interesting to mention how can someone adapt Lolita fashion to their daily lives. How can someone wear the fashion on a regular basis and what they can expect when they do so.

Information about meetups, meetup etiquette, etc...

This is a subject that I plan to cover in my advanced Lolita panel this year! XD; But I think it's something that I really should have touched on more on my previous panels. I think that meetup etiquette is something that, as an experienced Lolita, I feel like it's common sense but it may not be for newcomers. It's always nice to have information about Lolita meetups and how you should plan one properly and things to know to make the meetups a success! ^w^

Lolita in the Media

Another subject that I plan to cover in my advanced Lolita panel! ~ I thought it would be nice for newer Lolitas to find some outfit inspiration and where they can find Lolita related medias. I would mention the obvious Kamikaze Girls movie but also popular Lolita models, bloggers and Youtubers around the world, magasines on the fashion, etc...

Hello my sweet heart shaped chocolates! ~

I'm back on my blog today with my outfits from last week! ^w^ There is only three of them this time since I missed work last Monday due to a huge snowstorm. ;3;''

I tried my best to be more creative with my outfits last week so I hope you'll enjoy them. ~

I tried to coordinate my lilac candy skirt with white and some touches of pink with the socks, the necklace and my bag. ~ I kept a candy/sweets theme through the accessories so the outfit doesn't look too much all over the place. XD; It was nice to try something different with that skirt, especially with a cutsew!

I very rarely coordinate that jumperskirt with this peachy pink blouse so I thought I would give it a go! ^w^ I went for a peachy pink necklace too and I chose accessories themed around flowers for something elegant and simple. :3

I really tried something different and out of my comfort zone for this one and I don't know if I like it haha... XD; I went for an old-school Lolita look with the headdress, striped socks and the jabot. I thought it would be nice to tie in the pink of the jabot with my bag, socks and the wristcuffs. ~ I kind of coordinated this outfit the way I would with my white and pink sailor blouse so I think it still looks balanced enough. ^w^''

So that was my outfits for the last week! :3 I don't know if I am going to try and push my creative limits all the time like I did here but it was a fun little challenge. ~ I really need to get out of my comfort zone more often haha. XD;

Saguenay's Lolita Meeting! ~ February 2019!

Hello my sweet almond muffins! :3

I'm back on my blog today to share the few pictures from our monthly Lolita meetup that we did last week! ^w^

I'm very happy because we welcomed another new member in our community! :3 I also had the chance to try the yummy cupcakes from the Chocolaterie au Coeur Fondant again! ~ (Remember the meetup that we went to Alma last year? :3)

I had such a hard time to decide for an outfit for this meetup, I really wanted it to be perfect! ;o; So I settled for my pink Sugary Carnival jumperskirt coordinated with white. ~ I chose pretty transparent accessories themed around sweets and others made of tulle and pearls for a look that was elegant but still sweet. ^w^ I really liked my outfit in the end. :3

The Prince joined me for this meetup again! ^w^

When everyone was arrived at the chocolaterie we took our outfit pictures right away! ^w^

There was a cute Beanie Boo display so I thought it would be the perfect place to pose for our outfits. ~ We also decided it would be nice to pose with plushies also? XD;

Also, please keep in mind that a few of our members from our community don't have proper Lolita outfits yet and some of them are just starting out. ~

I really loved how Sandrine styled her hair! Those buns are so cute! ^w^

I think that dark blue really suit Angélique, she looked very elegant and I loved her makeup too! ~

I love the little steampunk touch that Alex added to his outfit with the goggles, so cool! :3

Our cute newcomer, Eri-chi! ^w^ Her dress was really gorgeous with that golden lace details and she was also super kind and sweet, I'm looking forward to know her more in our future meetups! ^o^/ (I'm also very glad that there is another Sweet Lolita in our community now, haha! XD)

Mason in their elegant black and grey outfit! ~ I loved the colour scheme. ^w^

Catherine was soooo pretty in her new dress! ~ I really love the golden details on the print and the cut of the dress suit her so nicely. :3

Érika had one of her new dresses too! ~ I love how she can make a sweeter print more elegant with her coordinate skills, she looked very lovely. ^w^

And me again! XD; I always try to wear outfits with white in them for meetups in winter because I know I'm going to wear my winter boots for the outfits shots. ^w^''

After the photos we ordered our pastries! :3

I chose a cookie dough flavoured cupcake along with a raspberry and a pistachio macaron. ~ I also had Earl Grey tea (that was out of frame because the cup and teapot weren't kawaii enough apparently). XD;

We mostly spend the afternoon enjoying our sweet snacks slowly and catching up on things since a lot of us went without seeing eachother for a while. ^w^''

I really had a great time with my frillies and I was so happy to see them again and to throw a meetup again with them. ~ I am also very happy and grateful to have a new member in our community too and I really hope she can have a lot of fun with us! :3

I always like to wear more casual and comfy outfits on Mondays since it's the day when I rarely feel like dressing up and going all out. I'm trying to wear this dress a lot during the colder months since it's a print that is very winter themed and it would be weird to wear it in the summer... XD; This time I coordinated it with white, some touches of pink and I tried to keep a bunny and yarn theme through the accessories. :3

So that was my outfits from last week! ^w^ As I said I'm really trying to be more creative with them but I am not very adventurous when it comes to my daily outfits so I'll try to push my limits more! ~
