Daily Outfits! ~ September 17th to September 22th!

Hello my precious kitten paws! ~

I'm back on my blog today with a few of my outfits from last week! ^w^ I am very proud of some of them and some other as not as creative as I would have liked but I'm sharing them anyway. XD; As usual they were worn to go to work unless stated otherwise. ~

I felt like being a bit creative for my first day of work last week and I've coordinated my blue gingham skirt with white and touches of pink. ~ (It's hard to see but there is pink dots on my socks. ^w^'') I really liked that outfit, it reminded me how I would coordinate my straw hat and bag with every outfit back in the summer of 2014. ^w^

I decided to wear something a bit more colourful that day since it was extra cold outside and I knew it would cheer me up. ^w^'' I realized after my outfit was laid out that I've worn this jumperskirt in the beginning of the month already and I was too lazy to change my outfit oops... XD; I've coordinated my Sugary Carnival all in pink with a theme of stars, ponies and pearls for a slightly elegant touch. ~

I felt like I haven't worn that dress in white in a while, so I decided to wear it since I was feeling a bit elegant and extra on that day. XD; I coordinated it mostly with bunnies and tulle accessories. ~ I liked my outfit a lot! ^w^

I felt extra lazy for that last day of work so I decided to wear one of my comfiest blouses and my comfiest jumperskirt. ~ I decided to wear the new necklace charm that the Prince's mom offered me for my birthday too! ^w^ It's so sparkly with all the rhinestones and I think it matched my blouse and socks nicely. ~

I've worn this outfit to run a few errands and for a Mabon dinner with my witchy friends. ~

I wanted to wear colours that represented fall for the equinox so I decided to wear red and lilac. ^w^ I like how creative this outfit looks. ~ I really like to wear that colour combo becuase I think they match so well together but you rarely see a good red/lilac outfit. ^w^'' Since I was going to be out and about most of the day, I decided to wear something simple and comfy after all. ~

So that was my outfits from last week! ^w^ I am still extra busy with work (and I will probably be until the end of November ;3;) but fall weather always makes me feel motivated to do a lot of activities and to see a lot of people too! ~

Lolita Blog Carnival! ~ What Is One Piece That You Could Never Give Away & Why?

I'm back on my blog today with a Lolita Blog Carnival post! I haven't done these in a while! ^w^ But this week's subject was very interesting to me and I really wanted to share it on my blog. ~

What Is One Piece That You Could Never Give Away & Why?

I thought for a long while about this subject and how I could chose only one piece of clothing... As you may know, I am not the kind of Lolita that usually give away or sells any of her pieces, especially her main pieces. I've done so a few times with more Otome or Fairy-Kei pieces or ones that I received that truly didn't fit me right, but overall I never gave away a single piece of clothing of my Lolita life.

I feel like everytime I buy a new piece for my closet, it's like a missing piece of a giant puzzle I've been looking for years. It may seem a bit weird or exaggerated, but I truly connect with each and every one of my pieces and all of them hold so many dear memories to me. I look at the worn out lace, the buttons that I had to sew back a hundred times, the necklaces I had to mend and the bows I had to tie back and it gives me that sense of accomplishment. I feel that way because I know that by wearing those pieces I am doing the right thing. ~

I've always said that my first piece of official Lolita clothing was my pink Anna House OP that I got at the beginning of 2010, maybe because saying it's an OP is more "glamorous" and because it seems more important because it's a main piece... But along with that OP I also got a black and white polka dots skirt too.

I remember back in my early Lolita days that I always wanted to do a nice black and white coordinate with that skirt, it was probably one of my first Lolita goals that I haven't truly tell to anyone. I also got a white blouse with black details just to complete that perfect outfit idea I had in my mind.

It's so silly, because this skirt and that blouse doesn't go with anything else in my closet. (It's probably my biggest beginner Lolita mistake, honestly.) But I knew that I got them with that perfect outfit in mind, and when I wore it for the first time, I felt so accomplished. ~ I finally felt worthy of being a Lolita and to start my Lolita life.

Even if that skirt (and that blouse) doesn't mix and match with anything in my closet, even if it's a bit on the shorter side and I can't wear it with one of my proper petticoats, even if I haven't worn that skirt in over 5 years and it just sits there... I don't think I could ever, ever give it away!

I might want to wear it tomorrow, who knows...?

I decided to go for a simple and casual Country Lolita look in peachy pink on that day! I was inspired by the weather, it was still so hot out! This wasn't the blouse I planned to wear on that day but the button on my peachy pink cutsew broke right before I was about to take my outfit pictures... ;w; I was extra unlucky that day since my ring also broke when I was driving to work... Boo! TwT''

I felt like wearing an unsual colour combo on that day! ^w^ I like to wear my Milky Berry print with blue since you don't see it coordinated with that colour very often. ~ The theme of my outfit is a bit all over the place though, I wanted to wear candy broches, a polka dot broach to match the dress and my socks, some strawberry themed jewelry too... ^w^'' But overall I think I liked my outfit a lot! :3

So that was my outfits from last week! ^w^ I am glad to be back to kind of a more regular schedule for my blog. ~ I also have a bunch of projects in my mind for this fall! I hope that my health will be a bit better then it was during the last few weeks and that life will let me enjoy the colder weather and the upcoming festive season too. ;o;
