Daily Outfits! ~ June 16th to June 25th!

Hello my sweet blue raspberry candies! ^^;

I'm back on my blog today with my outfits from the last two weeks! ~

Most of them are quite casual this time because the weather was so hot! XD; It just got a little cooler during the last days so I should be back to more creative outfits next, haha! :3 I hope you're going to enjoy them anyway, there is 7 of them this time so it's a big post haha! ^^;

As usual they were worn to work unless stated otherwise! ~

~ Outfit from June 16th! ~

Headbow; Momo & Jia
Cutsew; Rose Melody
Skirt; Dream of Lolita
Socks; Anna House
Shoes; An*Tai*Na
Bag; Loris
Accessories; Rococo Soul & Offbrand (Gift)

On that day I decided to coordinate my Fantastic Dolly skirt with some white and some touches of pink (on my nacklace and socks)! It was quite a simple and casual outfit with no particular theme but I was very comfy, haha! ^^;

~ Outfit from June 17th! ~

Headbow; Miko Lolita
Blouse; Dear Celine
Skirt; Anna House
Socks; Bodyline
Shoes; Bodyline
Bag; Loris
Accessories; Paradise Rose

On that day I wore a simple coordinate in pink and blue with my cupcake skirt from Anna House. ~ I tried to keep a bunny theme with my jewelry and my bag charm, hehe! :3

~ Outfit from June 20th! ~

I wore that outfit for a BBQ dinner with the Prince's family! ~

Hat; Taobao
Blouse; Kidsyoyo
Skirt; Dream of Lolita
Socks; Secret Shop
Shoes; An*Tai*Na
Bag; Taobao
Accessories; Paradise Rose & Offbrand (Etsy)

Since I knew I was going to be out I wanted to wear something very light and airy so I knew I could be comfy! XD; So I just picked my lightest blouse and my lightest skirt and I made a Country Lolita coordinate with it! ~ I went with mostly light peachy pink for the whole coordinate except I wore red strawberry jewelry to match nicely with the print! :3

~ Outfit from June 22nd! ~

Headbow; Miko Lolita
Blouse; Dear Celine
Skirt; Dollscrops
Socks; Secret Shop
Shoes; An*Tai*Na
Bag; Loris
Accessories; Paradise Rose & Holley Tea Time

Just a very simple coordinate for my first day of work this week! ^^; I coordinated my pink printed skirt along with white and I tried to keep interesting details with my accessories; A cupcake bear necklace, a glittery ring and musical notes on my socks. I think all the elements even if they are quite different they match nicely with the print theme too! :3 This coordinate reminded me of the outfits I used to put together with that skirt back in 2011-2012! ^w^

~ Outfit from June 23rd! ~

Headdress; Bodyline
Cutsew; Rose Melody
Skirt; Oo Jia
Socks; Secret Shop
Shoes; Bodyline
Bag; Loris
Accessories; Paradise Rose

A little bit of an Old-school twist for that day! ^^; I wore my plain blue skirt along my peachy pink cutsew and I wasn't sure of which headpiece to wear with it so I decided to go with the Old-school Lolita route and I wore my Bodyline headdress that I clearly doesn't wear enough! XD; I wore rose themed accessories to match the Old-school vibes and kept some touches of white in them (on my necklace and socks) to complement the white parts of the cutsew! ^^; Finally I wore my hair in braids because I really love the look of braids with a headdress! ~

~ Outfit from June 24th! ~

I wore that outfit to hang out at my friend Sophie's place and I went to eat out sushis on a whim after! XD;

Headbow; Dream of Lolita
Blouse; Oo Jia
Jumperskirt; Dream of Lolita
Socks; Bodyline
Shoes; An*Tai*Na
Bag; Loris
Accessories; Tasty Peach Studios, Chocomint, Holley Tea Time & Offbrand (Claire's, Handmade)

A more OTT Sweet coordinate for that day! ^^; I coordinated my lilac Sugary Carnival along with blue and accessories themed around ponies, stars, hearts and candies! ~ I also tried to replicate an hairstyle I haven't done in years which is curled high pigtails but since I was out of hairspray they didn't stay nice for long... XD; I swear they looked nicer before I took my outfit pictures! >w<'' I also really loved my makeup I did for that day! ~ I felt so cute and confident in that outfit, I even matched my new rainbow phonecase with it! ^w^

~ Outfit from June 25th! ~

Headbow; Anna House
Blouse; Dear Celine
Jumperskirt; Anna House
Socks; Bodyline
Shoes; Bodyline
Bag; Loris
Accessories; Paradise Rose & Offbrand

I could finally wear jumperskirts out without wanting to melt! XD; So I took the opportunity to wear my red jumperskirt! ^^; I coordinated it with pink and accessories themed around bows; quite a simple look but I liked it! ^w^ I also tried to do a darker more romantic makeup look with a dark raspberry colour on my outer eye and I think it turned out okay! ^^;

So that was my outfits from the last two weeks! ~ Even if they were a bit casual for most of them, I hope they can inspire you for your own outfits too! ^^;

Until next time my perfectly roasted mashmallows, take care! <3

10 videogames that had an impact in my life! ~

Hello my precious rainbow pompoms! ^^;

I'm back on my blog today with something I had an idea for quite a while but I wasn't sure if my cutesy lifestyle Lolita blog would be a good place to write about it... XD; But since I personally see gaming and videogames as part of my Lolita lifestyle I thought I would give it a go! ~ Hope you don't mind, or better, enjoy it! :3

This blog post was heavily inspired by a post I saw on Facebook that invited people to share their top 5 videogames that were important for them during their childhood and teenage years and I thought that would be such a nice idea for a blog post, but I wanted to include ALL the videogames that were/are important to me! ^w^

So here it it! With a little blurb as of why they are important to me! Some of them have longer stories than others but I just wanted to weeb out and chat about videogames, enjoy! XD;

~ 10 Videogames that had an impact in my life! ~

~ Pokémon Yellow (Game Boy Color) ~

Pokémon Yellow - Wikipedia

Pokémon Yellow was the first videogame I ever owned and played! I remember asking for the game and a Game Boy Color for my 7th birthday and it was such a big hype back in the days! I had a lot of trouble playing at it first since it was in english and as a good french speaking Quebecer kid I didn't knew or learned english yet... XD; So I pretty much started to learn english with that game. I would be very much trying things randomly though, memorizing the attacks and what they would do since I didn't knew what they would mean... ^^'' It was very much my first dip into gaming and I really have no regrets, I still love that game the same even today! ~

~ Donkey Kong Country (SNES) ~

Donkey Kong Country - Wikipedia

This game is probably one of my favourite games from the SNES! I used to play it pretty much every week with one of the friends I made in the last year of elementary school. Together we were the best duo, her in Donkey and me in Diddy! XD; And after the numerous sleepovers and gaming nights at her place, she also helped me finish the game at my place (since both her and I had the cassette!). ^^; I remember just loving the graphics, the music and the themes, there was so much hidden stuff in the maps too! ~ But the best thing I remember about this game was the precious memories I made with that friend on that year. :3

~ Pokémon Stadium (N64) ~

Pokemon - Stadium - Nintendo 64: Nintendo GameCube: Computer and ...

I never had a Nintendo 64 but I would play this game religiously with my neighbor in elementary school! XD; The thing that is kind of sad and kind of funny is that since it was her brother's game, he told us we couldn't play the part of the game where the Pokémon would fight against eachother? XD; And I don't know why he told us that... I feel like maybe he imported the Pokémon from his gameboy game or he just had a really nice team and he didn't want us to wreck it? XD; Anyway, the thing is we would JUST play the minigames, for hours at a time, and we wouldn't get bored! ^^'' These were so addictive and I would always be hype to play it at her place every week! ~

~ Mario Kart Double Dash (Gamecube) ~

Mario Kart Double Dash - GameCube: Nintendo GameCube: Computer and ...

For christmas when I was in 4th grade, I received a Gamecube! ^^; Shortly after I received that game and it became my favourite game from the Gamecube and it's also my favourite Mario Kart game even nowadays! I have played this game SO FREAKING MUCH! ><'' I was obsessed with it, the characters combos, the matching karts, everything was looking so wonderful to me as a child! XD; I was so obsessed with this game that I have to admit that I did give an oral presentation on that game in 5th grade, this is probably why I didn't have many friends, hahaha! ^w^''

~ Super Smash Bros Melee (Gamecube) ~

 Super Smash Bros. Melee - GameCube: Nintendo GameCube: Computer ...

This game was one of the games I would play the most when I would visit my cousin's place when I was in elementary school! ^^ I have so many fond memories of it from when we would fight against eachother and I would pretty much always be the one that was losing but I was playing with them so I had fun! ^^; Later when I was in highschool they decided to sell their Gamecube (or a few of their games, I don't really remember) and they sold it to me (along with Mario Party 5) because I loved it so much and for all the memories it would bring me! ^^ I still own and play the game to this day! :3

~ Dance Dance Revolution Super Nova 2 (PS2) ~

Dance Dance Revolution Supernova 2 - PlayStation 2: Sony ...

For the record I didn't owned a PS2 or this game when I would have the most fond memories attached to it! ^^'' I started to play this game at a friend's house during our 2nd or 3rd year of highschool and I LOVED it! >< She would show me all the tricks to be better at it and more efficient so I could finish the songs more easily! After that I made another friend during my 4th year of highschool that happened to have that game too so I borrowed his PS2 and the game from him and I played everyday for the month he lent it to me! XD; It was such a new world to me because I was moving/exercising and it wouldn't feel like it! I remember being so sore for days after playing for hours but I couldn't stop playing it, it was so addictive! ^^'' Recently the Prince got a PS2 and he bought me the game and the dance mat so I could relive my highschool DDR hype! XD;

~ Pokémon Sapphire (Game Boy Advance) ~

Pokemon Sapphire - Game Boy Advance: Nintendo Game Boy Advance ...

There is quite a story behind the game, haha! XD; Well, I never owned a Game Boy Advance but I did have this game! Actually, my mom found it at the mall, still in a Walmart shopping bag when we went to the cinema together once when I was in my 2nd year of highschool I think... She brought it to me and was like "I don't know if you can do anything with it but it's Pokémon so you should like it!" The thing is, I didn't owned a Game Boy Advance so I kind of kept the game in it's packaging for a couple of years... Until I realized that I had the Game Boy player thing that would connect on my Gamecube... In which I could indeed play Game Boy Advance games!! XD So during the last year of highschool, when the Pokémon hype really died and I would be pretty much the only one from my friend group that would still like Pokémon... I started to play this game! ^^ And to this day it's still my favourite Pokémon game, I love it so much! ~

~ Animal Crossing New Leaf (3DS) ~

Animal Crossing: New Leaf - Nintendo 3DS: nintendo_3ds: Computer ...

A little preface; when I started wearing Lolita when I was in college, I kind of pushed aside gaming as a hobby while I was building up my closet. After all these years when I started university, I wanted to get back into that hobby... So I knew that the most recent Pokémon Game (X and Y at the time) would get released on the 3DS so I thought I would get a 3DS... And I had the money saved for the console in September and Pokémon X and Y wouldn't get released until November... So I asked for games recommendation on Facebook since I was going to get the console early anyway and I was kind of out of the loop when it came to gaming... And a lot of people recommended me this game! ^^; Honestly, it was a life changer to me! ;w; I loved it SO MUCH, the designs, the softness, the cute villagers, the fact that it's a very chill game and there is no rush, no competition, no big monsters to beat up, etc... I remember being in my first semester at university and I would turn people down from hanging out BECAUSE ALL I WANTED WAS TO BE HOME AND PLAY ANIMAL CROSSING WITH MY CATS ON MY COUCH!! XDD; This game helped me get through my first year in university; when I would feel alone, started to have anxiety problems and I had no one to hang out with (probably because I would always turn them down, jk XD). I would turn on the game, talk to my villagers and that was the proof that it was all going to be okay! <3

~ Style Savvy: Styling Star (3DS) ~

Style Savvy: Styling Star for Nintendo 3DS - Nintendo Game Details

I started playing the Style Savvy series after my friend Érika lended me the first one, Trendsetters, and I was hooked! XD; It's a fashion game when you own a little boutique and there is actual Lolita fashion clothes and shops in it, what else could I ask for? XD; It's one of the games I played the most on my 3DS (other than New Leaf lol) and I played so much in such a short time because I loved it so much! ;w; I actually got that game when I was in recovery from the surgery I got around two years ago... So it allowed me to dressup and create outfits even when I wasn't able to wear the fashion that I love and it really helped me to stay happy and motivated towards fashion! ^^;

~ Pokémon Ultra Moon (3DS) ~

Pokémon Ultra Moon - Nintendo 3DS: Computer and Video Games ...

The last one on my list but really not the least! ^^; Honestly, this game didn't make the cut because I particularly enjoyed it as a game; even if the quality of life improvements from the previous Pokémon games are there. I included it because it's the game that would represent the beginning of my journey as one of the Gym Learders from our local Pokémon league! ^^; I love friendship and I love having fun and one of the things I will always remember is our first event during the SagGeek last year where I was being challenged and giving out my personal badge to the trainers that would have defeated me! ~ It was really such a nice and wholesome thing to do and it was my first steps towards competition battles in Pokémon! I learned a lot in a short time (and honestly I still have a lot to learn!) but it was such an awesome experience and I will never forget it! :3

I hope you liked this little gaming post, it was a new format for me but I really enjoyed weebing out about videogames since it takes a big part of my life in general and I like talking and sharing about it! ^^;

Until next time my sweet purple donuts, be safe and take care! <3

Daily Outfits! ~ May 26th to June 11th!

Hello my lilac sprinkles! ^^;

I'm back on my blog today with my outfits from the last few weeks! ~

I feel like it's been so long I haven't shared my outfits on here and I had a huge backlog of them... ^w^'' But I skimmed them a bit, removing the more casual ones and keeping the ones that I thought were the most interesting so I don't have to post as many at once! ^^;

So now I will be up to date with my outfits, yay! :3

As usual, they were worn to work unless stated otherwise. ~

I feel like it's been a while since I've worn that dress out! ^^; This time I coordinated it with white and a short sleeved blouse! ~ I really like wearing wristcuffs with that dress and I think the polka dots on the bows match the outfit so perfectly! *v* I also tried to keep a hearts theme with my accessories. :3

Socks; Anna House
Shoes; Bodyline

Another Country Lolita outfit, this time in red and offwhite! :3 This outfit didn't really turn out exactly as planned because I found out my strawberry wristcuffs unsewn a bit right when I was putting them on. XD; So I had to find matching bracelets at the last minute lol... ^w^'' I also tried to do a darker pink makeup but with muted pink shades to match with the red skirt but I don't know if I like it... XD; I don't know if it truly matches and I feel like it looks a bit too much like Larme-kei makeup, I don't know? ^w^''

~ Outfit from June 11th! ~

Headbow; Dear Celine
Blouse; Oo Jia
Jumperskirt; Dear Celine
Socks; Bodyline
Shoes; An*Tai*Na
Bag; Loris
Accessories; Paradise Rose, Chocomint, Holley Tea Time & Offbrand (Claire's, Local Shops & Handmade)

For the end of the week I wanted to wear something a bit more colourful and sweet so I can try my pinkish highlighter with Lolita for the first time! (I've been wearing a beige one up to now!) So I coordinated my Sweet Paris jumperskirt along with blue. ~ I tried to keep a polka dots theme with the socks and my bow broach and other more elegant accessories too! :3 I really love my makeup with that outfit; I chose colourful eyeshadows that would match with it and I did get a bit heavy on the blush/highlight on my nose/across my face but I really like it that way! ;3; It made me feel very confident! ^^;

So that was my outfits from last weeks! ~ I'm really glad I am up to date now! :3

Again, I have so many post ideas for my blog but I've been quite busy even on my days off work lately! (Actually I revamped my living space a bit; I have a vanity and a crafting/creativity/work desk now! I love a fresh and new perspective, it makes me so thrilled! ^^;) But don't worry I keep track of all the future subjects I have in mind for that blog and none of them are really time sensitive so I will surely get to it at some point! ~

Until next time my yummy sugary sorbets, stay safe and take care! :3
